Matt Cullen is excited to return for his 8th season with the Steelheads. Matt began covering the team in various roles in 2014-15 and is now entering his fifth season of radio play-by-play for NewsTalk Sauga960am.

A multi-sport commentator, Matt is also passionate about basketball and has been the voice of the Raptors 905 in the NBA G-League on NewsTalk Sauga 960am for the past three years. Soccer has also become a big part of Matt's life. He calls the play-by-play for the Canadian National teams in French as well as the action in the Canadian Premier League for OneSoccer. He is occasionally heard on NewsTalk Sauga 960am's broadcasts of York United FC.

Matt is also a bilingual reporter and commentator for CBC Sports and Radio-Canada in Toronto. Some of his career highlights include calling gold medals on the national stage as a play-by-play commentator for the past three Olympic Games on CBC. He has also covered the last three Stanley Cup Finals for CBC News Network and CBC Radio 1.
