About peet dictor
The BIG Show with Peet & Ray
Peet’s love has always been broadcasting. He is a well known broadcast professional and has several decades of experience in Radio, Television, Broadcast Management and running a Marketing & Production Company for 30 years.
His Broadcast story began the day he walked into CJRN 710 Radio in Niagara Falls looking to be a Top 40 DJ with “no experience”… just a ton and a half of desire and vision! The owner overheard him naively talking to the receptionist about being on the air…he immediately saw something in his ambitious passion and gave him a job as a studio operator the next day starting at 4am.
Since that special day, Peet has worked at many radio stations of all formats…. starting in News & Sports, followed by Music & Countdown Show Hosting, Talk Radio, Some colour commentary for hockey/events, Broadcast Consulting, Administration then moving on to the world of Television and Entertainment.
Peet had the great fortune of working with Disney, Discovery, History, Learning & Travel Channels, opening up and managing an on-air TV Station in Rome Italy (during the “Switching of the Popes”), Hosting several shows on camera including The Peet & Reet Show with Rita Carrey, who recently passed and would’ve have been in the “air-chair” with us on this new, incredible ride.
Peet has come back full circle to on-air Radio(not ever fully leaving it), loving the intimacy, the people connection and the theatre of the mind aspect. Peet is very excited to be a part of the Sauga 960 AM Team with co-host Ray Lyell who is equally as pumped!
