THE RICHARD SYRETT SHOW

Richard Syrett has lived and breathed talk radio most of his adult life. He began his career as a producer at CFRB AM 1010 Toronto in the early ‘90s, where he learned the craft from broadcasting luminaries Wally Crouter, Andy Barrie, Ed Needham, Brian Linehan, and John Oakley.

In February 2000 Richard stepped behind the microphone as host of his own program, and he has remained a fixture on Toronto airwaves for more than 20 years.

In 2007, after a four year stint at MOJO Radio AM 640, where he co-created and produced The John Oakley Morning Show, Richard returned to CFRB 1010 as host of a nightly program exploring unexplained mysteries.

In 2009 Richard landed at Toronto’s Zoomer Radio AM740 where he continues to thrill audiences across North America on his weekly, syndicated radio program.

In the summers of 2010 and 2011 Richard created, wrote, produced and narrated two critically acclaimed national radio documentary series for CBC Radio One, Out of Their Minds and Metamorphosis.

Also in 2010, Richard created, wrote, produced and hosted his own television show, which aired across Canada for four seasons and was later sold around the world.

Today, Richard is familiar to millions of listeners across North America as a frequent weekend host on Coast to Coast AM, the most-listened-to, late-night radio program in the world.

Richard is a keen observer of Canadian, American and international politics, a voracious reader of history and a staunch and unapologetic standard-bearer for conservative values.
